Visual Artist

I am a freelance visual artist based in Warwickshire with over 14 years of experience in delivering bespoke workshops and projects within the arts, education and the local community. A graduate of Birmingham City University with a First Class Honours degree in Visual Art, specialising in creating hand-felted sculptural forms, which have been exhibited, sometimes worn and adapted for theatre. 

2010 was a turning point for me, in which I began to develop my practice, dipping into performance, theatre and enjoying the experiences of collaborating with other artists and organisations.  The icing on the cake, is seeing my work being published in 'Textiles, the Art of Mankind' and  Barehill Publications ' The State of Art - Installation & Site Specific Specific: #1. 

 The past 8 years have been rich and diverse,  yet it is my collaboration with Stan's Cafe, that has taken me far and wide to some amazing and unique venues, installing 'Steps', creating carnivals and of course educational projects, always challenging, with never a dull moment in sight!
